A method for lower lip reconstruction at total defect using Filatov-Gillies tubed pedicle flap, where one pedicle of the Filatov-Gillies tubed pedicle flap is fixed by scar outside, follwed by unrolling of the Filatov-Gillies tubed pedicle flap along the longitudinal axis and the second pedicle is fixed by scar inward the oral cavity, and then the Filatov-Gillies tubed pedicle flap is split in vertical plane for two portions, each of them is split by the scar and spreaded forming two skin flaps, then the interior portion of the oral cavity is formed by the first skin flap, and the exterior portion is formed by the second one, with formation of two-layer skin flap for healing of two skin flaps and lower lip reinforcement by tissue connective layer, followed by turning over the edge of the first skin flap forming the "red border" countur. |
