MAGNETO OPTICAL INDICATOR FILM SYSTEM FOR MAGNETIC DOMAIN OBSERVATION

PURPOSE: A magneto optical indicator film system is provided to easily observe the movement of a magnetic domain by arranging the spindle of a garnet indicator film according to the magnetic force line of domains. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic field is applied to an electromagnet(2) test piece. A thin film sample(4) is an object for the magnetic domain observation. A garnet film(5) is related to a spin direction due to the magnetic flux change of the test piece. A light analyzer(6) converts a light source, which is reflected from the garnet film, into an optically polarized image signal by linearly polarizing the light source. A camera(7) controls darkness and color by condensing a video signal, which is transformed through the analyzer, through a camera lens.
