The robot has an elongated chassis with two edge-side arranged wheels (11), and two rows of cleaning rollers (9) arranged parallel to each other in a driving direction. A dual water tank has a clean water tank and a polluted water tank and lies longitudinally over the rollers. Two electric motors (1) are used as a drive for the wheels, and electronic modules (5-7) are arranged between the clean water tank and the polluted water tank for driving the wheels and for automatically controlling the robot. An independent claim is also included for a method for drying and scrubbing resin residues in floors of a sports hall.
