FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to vehicle security system for spare wheel holder installed on commercial vehicle. The security system (1) contains element (2) of chassis side with holes on each side, at least one mechanism (3) allowing to pull down and up the spare wheel attached to one side of cassis side element (2). The end (4) of wheel wrench serves to actuate mechanism (3) by passing through other hole in the element (2) of chassis side, and axis (5) serves to prevent the end (4) of wheel wrench from reaching the mechanism (3). When removed the axis (5) allow the end (4) of wheel wrench to reach the mechanism (3) for its actuation. The axis is located in the centre of chassis side element (2). The system contains special nut (6) installed at the end of axis (5) outside the chassis side element (2) and made integral with the axis (5). ^ EFFECT: simplification of spare wheel mounting and protection of spare wheel against theft. ^ 2 dwg |
