<p>Electrical socket comprises a contact support insert having radially extending edge sections encompassed in the final assembled position by corresponding holders (7, 8, 9) of the socket housing (2) to support the insert in the axial direction opposite the socket housing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Contact support insert; and (2) Socket housing. Preferred Features: The contact support insert has a radial cam arranged on the end side of a spring tongue.
