<p>The method involves transferring a sliced food into a slicing plane by an automatically driven storage device (4) and into a storage position by a fettler (41). A parameter of a food to be sliced is provided, and a drive profile for the fettler of the storage device is determined based on the parameter. Path characteristics and/or force characteristics and/or speed characteristics of the fettler are variably controlled based on the drive profile. The drive profile is calculated under the consideration of the parameter according to a predetermined algorithm. An independent claim is also included for a slicing machine for a food, comprising a cutting blade.</p> |
