<p>The furnace (1) has a furnace bottom part (15) and a vertically extending feed pipe (4) through which fuel is delivered into the furnace. The feed pipe leads from a bottom side into the furnace bottom part such that the fuel enters the furnace from the bottom side. An agitator (16) has multiple rotating agitator blades that are placed at a short distance above the furnace bottom part and outlet nozzles of an oxygen supply unit. The agitator rotates with a speed of less than one revolution per minute.</p> |
