FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and hygiene. A leg support comprises a base, a bearing part, sound and light indicator elements or a computer interface, a control member and sensors. The bearing part enables the ankles to be flexed and extended with controlling the feet movement amplitude meanwhile by the setting height of the bearing part relative to the support base. The sensors are used to determine greater amplitude feet flexion and extension events and allow to monitor frequency and number of such movements. The control member is capable to compare the frequency and number of feet movements during certain time intervals. The frequency and number of feet movements are compared to the preset parametres that enable to prevent blood congestion and clotting in feet. If observing the divergence of the parametres from the preset values, the control member is capable to activate the sound and light indication, or to display the information on the monitor to remind a user of the necessity of resumption of the preventive exercises. ^ EFFECT: essential simplification and cost reduction of the device. ^ 2 dwg |
