<p>The machine has a spreader guide (300) placed opposite to a slide placing device. The spreader guide has a guiding channel i.e. rabbet (310a), in which closing profiles (20) are rotated, where the spreader guide is made of plastic or metal. Width of the channel is lower than thickness of an anchorage unit such that the anchorage unit is not penetrated in the channel when the profiles are supplied by the supply unit. A portion (23) of the closing profiles subjacent to the anchorage unit is pinched by walls of the channel to separate respective free ends (21) of the closing profiles. An independent claim is also included for a method for automatically placing a slide on closing profiles.</p> |
