PURPOSE: A method for controlling an aerial photograph plotting instrument which revising a deflection of temperature variation are provided to compensate an error due to temperature inside a plotter by controlling the height of an image pick-up unit actively. CONSTITUTION: An aerial photograph film is fixed to a carrier(S10). The image of the aerial photograph film is taken by an image pick-up unit. A picture is drawn(S20). The temperature of the aerial photograph film is detected(S30). A controller calculates the height of the image pick-up unit(S40). The image pick-up unit is lifted to the height of the image pick-up unit(S50).
