<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidewire-type capsule endoscope capable of inserting a guidwire into the deep part of the colon easily and also capable of inserting a capsule endoscope to a target region in a short time using the guidewire as a guide. <P>SOLUTION: The guidewire-type capsule endoscope is provided for inserting the capsule endoscope 3 into lumen using the flexible guidewire 2 as a guide in order to observe the inside of the lumen. The capsule endoscope 3 is provided with first to third tubes 12-14 arranged outside the capsule endoscope as guide members. Each of the tubes has a conduit for inserting at least the guidewire 2 and the capsule endoscope 3 can be inserted into the lumen along the guidewire 2 by the tubes 12-14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
