<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the aligning accuracy of a preform when spinning a rim part of a vehicle wheel. <P>SOLUTION: A preform 30 of a vehicle wheel integrally having a disk part 31 and an original rim part 32 is cast. A recessed part 34 for alignment is formed corresponding to a molten metal guide part of a mold during the casting. Next, the original rim part 32 of the preform 30 is housed over the outer circumference of a mandrel 40, the disk part 31 is held by an end face of the mandrel 40 and a clamp member 50, and the original rim part 32 is subjected to the spinning in this state. A projecting part 44b for alignment is formed at the center of the end face of the mandrel 40, and the preform 30 is aligned by fitting the mandrel in the recessed part 34 for alignment of the preform 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
