<p>The device (10) has receiving elements (14.1-14.6) e.g. tooths, for individually receiving- and storing workpiece units (16.1-16.3). The receiving elements are movable and/or pivotable independent from each other in opposite directions. The receiving elements comprise telescope elements, and extend along a longitudinal direction. Two lifting elements (13.1, 13.2) are moved vertically on a cross carrier (12). The workpiece units are arranged on a side of the cross carrier.
