The circuit (IC2) has a countermeasure unit (CM1) for protecting a cryptography algorithm (CA1) against attacks by auxiliary channels. A mask generator (MG1) provides mask values (Mi) to the countermeasure unit. A microprocessor (MP) executes a command (GMC) requiring disclosure of the mask values used by the countermeasure unit for protecting the cryptography algorithm during a cryptography session. The microprocessor sends the values by a communication interface circuit (INT1) e.g. near field communication (NFC) interface circuit, in response to the command. An independent claim is also included for a method for executing a cryptography session in an integrated circuit.
