PURPOSE: A method for purifying glutathione-S-transferase(GST) by affinity chromatography is provided to efficiently obtain GST fusion protein of high purity. CONSTITUTION: A method for purifying recombinant GST fusion protein comprises: a step of culturing a strain having GST fusion protein gene; a step of centrifuging the culture medium to obtain cell-eluted solution; a step of binding the GST fusion protein to GSH affinity column; a step of eluting the GST fusion protein using elution buffer containing formic acid; and a step of collecting the GST fusion protein. The GST fusion protein is cylcophilin A.
