PURPOSE: A power generator using tidal current is provided to remarkably reduce contamination of a marine ecosystem since a water turbine can move along the flow of tidal current using a floating member. CONSTITUTION: A power generator using tidal current comprises a floating member(110), a power generator(120), a water turbine(130) and a connecting member. The floating member is floated on the fluid. The power generator is installed in the floating member. The water turbine is rotatably installed in the floating member and is rotated by the flow of the fluid. The connecting member transfers the torque of the water turbine to the power generator. |
