<p>The invention relates to a powder having a maximum size of less than 200 µm for the D99.5 particles comprising over 20% of the aggregated or non-aggregated core particles that have a sphericity index of less than 0.6 and are formed of a zirconium and/or hafnium derivative having the formula M(0H)x(N')y(0H2)z, M being Zr4+, Hf4+, or a mixture of Zr4+ and Hf4+, N' being an anion or anion mixture, the subscripts x and y being strictly positive numbers, the subscript z being a positive or zero number, said material having water solubility at a temperature less than 20°C less than 10-3 mol/L, said derivative being dopable or non-dopable. The invention can be used for catalysis and filtration.</p> |
