The structure (1) has longitudinal elements (3) connected with each other by a transverse element (4), where each longitudinal element is a front side sill. Connections between the elements are carried out by using a plate (5) and a bar (6) which are respectively connected with the elements. The longitudinal elements include end tabs (310, 320) to pass from an initial position in which each tab is placed in a longitudinal projection outside the longitudinal elements, to a deformed position in which each tab extends perpendicular to the longitudinal elements and is folded against the plate.
