#CMT# #/CMT# The apparatus has a driving system (1) for driving heald frames (7) and including a weaving shed forming motor (2) connected to a crank (14) and a sliding shaft (20) on which a weaving shed forming lever (4) is mounted. Imaginary circles (21) centered on center of the shaft are defined on the lever. Connection points of the system are located at level of circumferential positions on the respective circles, where two of connection angles (alpha) of the system are same at level of respective slots when the frames driven by rotation of the crank are located at the same positions. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Apparatus for formation of a weaving shed in a textile weaving loom. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The difference between upper and lower displacement distances of the frames is lowered without rapidly increasing or decreasing rotation speed of the motor, thus facilitating control of the rotation speed of the motor while reducing loads on the motor. The motor can be arranged in a direction perpendicular to extension rods in a vertical direction, thus preventing expansion of installation space in the loom. The shed forming levers to be used in the formation apparatus have same outer shape such that the circumferential positions of the holes, through which connecting pins are passed, are different depending on the levers, thus reducing manufacturing cost of components of the loom.
