The aquarium (A) has a trim panel (200a) and a support between which a tank (100) made of transparent material i.e. glass, is positioned. The tank is equipped with a filtration grille and functional sub-sets. The trim panels form a frame supporting the tank so that the tank is not rested against the frame. The frame is provided with a window (210a) authorizing visual access to contents of the tank, where the frame is provided with borders (220a) occulting edges of the tank in which the functional subsets are arranged.
