PURPOSE: A cooler of a cartridge type spindle part, which reduces deformation and the degradation of precision by the thermal expansion of a shaft, is provided to mount and separate a spindle unit on and from a head body by preventing the burning of a bearing. CONSTITUTION: A cooler of a cartridge type spindle part comprises a bracket(117), a jacket sleeve(104), front and rear housings(101,114), a sleeve cover(108) and a cooling jacket(110). Coolant flows in a coolant inlet port(107) of the back side of a bracket. Coolant circulates the front housing and the sleeve cover through an inner flow path of the jacket sleeve. Coolant is exhausted to an outlet of the bracket through the rear housing and the cooling jacket.
