ELECTROMAGNETIC BAND GAP STRUCTURE AND A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electromagnetic band gap structure and a printed circuit board having the same are provided to form a stop band of the preferable bandwidth even with small size by including a stitching pattern formed on a metal layer being different form the conductive layers. CONSTITUTION: A conductive layer(100) comprises a plurality of conductive plates(110). A metal layer(300) comprises a helix stitching pattern(310). The helix stitching pattern electrically connects a first conductive plate(110a) among the plurality of conductive plates and a second conductive plate. A first via(510) electrically connects the first conductive plate and the stitching pattern.
