PURPOSE: An air compressor is intended to provide the excellent operating efficiency and to prevent the operational noise since the intake, compression and the discharging of the air are performed in single operating cycle. CONSTITUTION: An air compressor comprises a chassis(1), a motor(2), a transmission set(3), and a plurality of extendible barrels(4). Bearing seats(12) are formed on both sides of the chassis. The motor is installed on the chassis. The transmission set comprises eccentric rotation members(32) and a clutch(31) and is installed between the bearing seats. The clutch comprises two moving ends, which are respectively connected to the eccentric rotating members and face each other, and is connected to the motor to be continuously rotated. The extendible barrels are respectively connected to the moving ends of a crank arm, have circular surfaces and comprise an air inlet port and an air outlet port. The circular surface forms alternating circular troughs and ridges.
