<p>The present invention relates to cosmetic, dermatological, and pharmaceutical compositions that deliver, in an acceptable vehicle or carrier comprising a film former or wax and an effective amount of nanoparticles and one or more pigments and methods for improving the appearance of a biological surface by altering the optical properties of the biological surface. The compositions of the invention enhance color and may be topically applied to the biological surface in an amount effective in improving the aesthetic and natural appearance of the biological surface.</p> |
