PURPOSE: A pressure/depressure control piston cylinder for a pneumatic pressing unit is provided to prevent operation delay and malfunction, since air or fluid flows in through an air inflow groove. CONSTITUTION: A pressure/depressure control piston cylinder for a pneumatic pressing unit comprises a pressure chamber(20), a compression cylinder(24), an exhaust valve(26), a manifold(30), an external air inflow path(54), a check valve member(56), and a display unit. A connection pipe(18) is formed in the pressure chamber. The compression cylinder has a compression piston(22) which supplies compressed air to the pressure chamber. The exhaust valve discharges the compressed air within the pressure chamber to the outside. The manifold is installed between the pressure chamber and the compression cylinder. The external air inflow path is connected to the inside of the compression cylinder. The external air inflow path guides external air to the inside of the compression cylinder. The check valve member is installed o the connection part of the compression cylinder and the manifold.
