PURPOSE: A digital broadcasting transceiver and an image data reproduction method for converting the resolution of the received image data are provided to normally reproduce the image data by converting the resolution of the image data to the resolution of the digital broadcasting transceiver. CONSTITUTION: A communication module communicates with an external input device. A menu generator(114) generates a data information menu screen. A resolution controller(118) converts the resolution of the image data which is transmitted from the external device and converts the resolution of the image data into the specific resolution. A signal processing unit(112) displays the data information menu screen and reproduces the converted image data. A controller converts the resolution of the image data.
