PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for cooperative communication for improving the bandwidth-efficiency are provided to reduce the time delay caused by a broadcast step while performing cooperative communication to obtain a diversity gain. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter(10) modulates transmission data by selectively using first and second DCM(Dual Carrier Modulation) constellation mapper, and a repeater(20) estimates the transmission data by using one or all symbol pairs of the signals transmitted from the transmitter. The repeater performs DCM modulation for the estimated signal, and a receiver(30) receives the signal transmitted from the transmitter and the repeater. The receiver estimates the transmission data from the received signal. |
