<p>A lock that is actuated by an actuating force, such as that caused by an earthquake, for locking a door of a compartment or other enclosure. A magnet can be embedded on an inside surface of a door of the compartment. A displaceable component is provided within the compartment. An actuating force can displace a position of the displaceable component such that it can be aligned with the magnet. The displaceable component can be attracted to the magnet and thereby lock the door in a closed position.</p> |
