PURPOSE: A connector including a lock instrument for combining a socket and a header and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the number of components by molding the socket and the header. CONSTITUTION: A socket(2) and a header(3) respectively have contacts and locking units. The socket has a holding unit. The lock unit of the socket is formed in a part of the contact. The lock unit of the header combines the holding unit of the header. The lock unit of the header and the socket is arranged to each contact.
