PURPOSE: An unmanned coin receiving device is provided to calculate the amount of inserted coins and accurately determine abnormalities such as defective coin, counterfeit coin, foreign coin. CONSTITUTION: A coin feeding unit(120) transfers the inserted coins sequentially one by one. A magnetic coil sensor(141) forms the magnetic area on a coin feeding passage, and detects the size and the material of the coin, based on the variation of magnetic field caused by the coin passing the magnetic field.
