PURPOSE: Cation and hybrid curable UV gel is provided to secure the scratch resistance after curing the gel, and to improve the thermal stability and the insensitivity for oxygen. CONSTITUTION: Cation and hybrid curable UV gel contains a gelling agent, a cation curable monomer, a cation photo-initiator, a radical curable property monomer, and a free radical photo-initiator. The cation curable monomer is selected from the group consisting of epoxide, vinyl ether, and oxetane. The cation photo-initiator is selected from the group consisting of triaryl sulfonium salt, diaryliodonium salt, aryl diazonium salt, triarylselenonium salt, dialkylphenacylsulfonium salt, triarylsulfoxonium salt, aryloxydiarylsulfnoneoxonium salt, and dialkylphenacylsulfoxonium salt.
