PURPOSE: A socket for a fluorescent tube which integrates a base unit and a housing is provided to reduce the number of components by integrately molding the base unit and the housing. CONSTITUTION: A housing includes a contact receiving unit(23) opened to one direction. The contact receiving unit includes a contact base unit, a contact piece, and a guide unit(19). The contact piece includes a stabilizer(18) expanded from the contact piece. The movement of the stabilizer is guided to the guide unit.
