Disclosed are fermented milks enriched with iron, which have been obtained by adding an emulsifier-coated ferric pyrophosphate composition to acidified milks subjected to lactic acid fermentation, and a process for producing the iron-enriched fermented milks; and fermented milks enriched with iron, which have been obtained by further adding vitamin C to the iron-enriched fermented milks such that the following formula is satisfied: <MATH> wherein X: the content (mg) of iron in said emulsifier-coated ferric pyrophosphate composition per 100 g of the product, and Y: the content (mg) of vitamin C per 100 g of the product, and a process for producing the fermented milks enriched with iron and vitamin C. |
