<p>There is disclosed a package (2) for flat objects, for example pizzas, comprising two identical parts (1) fitting into each other, each comprising a recessed tray (3) and an elevated lateral rim (5) extending along the circumference thereof, which is provided with two types of complementary closure means (6.1,6.2), which fit into each other with a clamping fit. There are disclosed variants in which the rim (5) is entirely taken up by closure means (6.1,6.2). The closure means are configured as interlocking closure means to be pressed together with a clamping fit, which are both located at circumferential positions such that the package, which is made of a biodegradable fibre material, preferably sugar cane, will close properly when the upper sides of the closure means are pressed together, without a stronger bottom being required.</p> |
