<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a CCD solid-state imaging device in which a resolution is not reduced after image combination by obtaining a plurality of image signals with different exposure periods using the same readout sequence, and to achieve an image of which the dynamic range is enlarged by obtaining a plurality of image signals with different exposure periods using the same readout sequence and combining thus obtained image signals. <P>SOLUTION: A CCD solid-state image sensor 2 includes: light receiving units 7, vertical transfer units 8, readout electrodes 10 and horizontal transfer units 11. In the CCD solid-state imaging device 2, a readout pulse is applied to the light receiving unit 7 positioned on a (3N-2)-th row in a timing indicated by a code t2 during an exposure period.
