DATA BROADCASTING SYSTEM, METHOD THEREOF, BROADCAST STATION, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that transmits a large amount of information with a small data amount, and eliminates the need for separately creating data of partial hierarchy reception and data of fixed hierarchy reception.

SOLUTION: A data broadcasting system includes: a replacement table obtained by associating a character in which a character code and a display character to be used in data broadcasting are common between a partial hierarchy and a fixed hierarchy in digital broadcasting with information; a first data broadcasting means for replacing the information with a character by the table, storing the character code in an event message of the data broadcasting and performing broadcasting; a second data broadcasting means having a replacement table and broadcasting display control program for replacing the character of the character code stored in the event message with corresponding information; and a display control means which operates by the display control program of the data broadcasting, replacing the character of the character code stored in the received event message with corresponding information on the basis of the replacement table and displaying the information.
