PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the local variance in electric characteristics of a semiconductor chip.

SOLUTION: A plurality of output pads 16 for outputting driving signals are arranged along one side of a semiconductor chip 10. A plurality of observation terminal parts 20 each of which has two first and second measurement pads 20b and 20c connected by a PN junction diode 20a are formed. At least two observation terminal parts 20 are arranged apart from each other along the one side where the output pads 16 are arranged.
