<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MFP which can clear a job that is waiting for in the spooler of a personal computer from the operation panel of the MFP, when it is required to clear a lot of jobs in the face of the MFP. <P>SOLUTION: An application software (spooler clear application) for personal computer monitors a certain folder in the personal computer continuously, and the application software detects the fact that the file is stored in a monitored folder when the user stores an optional image file in the monitored folder by using the Scan to Folder function which the MFT generally owns.
