<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system, capable of automatically generating a data structure corresponding to functions of an individual printer without using a data structure update file or preliminarily preparing a data structure corresponding to all functions of an existing printer, and further converting print setting information related to a new function into a format readable by a printer, and an information processing apparatus, method, and program. <P>SOLUTION: The print system includes an information processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus connected through a network. The image forming apparatus delivers function information to the image processing device. The information processing apparatus generates a correspondence table which associates the function information with printer setting information to be registered in the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus further generates printer setting information from the function information to form a printer driver. The printer driver generates a message containing print setting information to be transmitted to the image forming apparatus by use of the correspondence table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
