<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which achieves a honing workpiece, following the form of a hole. <P>SOLUTION: A holder 10 for honing, used in a workpiece for grinding the hole 87 of a work by a grindstone 35, is equipped with: a grindstone shoe 32 having an intersection in an intermediate position of a longitudinal direction and oscillating in such a way that when the diameter of one end side is enlarged, the diameter of the other end side is reduced to support the grindstone 35; and the grindstone 35 attached to the outside diameter side of the grindstone shoe 32 to abut on an inner peripheral surface of the hole 87 of the workpiece. The grindstone shoe 32 oscillates following the inner peripheral surface of the hole 87 of the workpiece. According to the invention, the grindstone 35 which is allowed to come into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the hole 87 of the work can be oscillated, following the inner peripheral surface of the hole 87 of the work.
