PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have hard X rays stably irradiated in a X-ray irradiation device creating the hard X rays by using a reverse Compton scattering phenomenon. SOLUTION: In the X-ray irradiation device, a first light guide section 4 and a second light guide section 5 guide a laser beam L2 for accelerating electrons and a laser beam L3 for collision so as to make changes due to an amount of deviation from a reference incidence condition of a parallel laser beam L1 against a divergence means 2 symmetrical with a symmetrical surface A.
