摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the speed of liquid feeding to a liquid ejector from a liquid holding container while improving the efficiency of stirring. SOLUTION: A cartridge body 10 includes an air chamber 100, an ink storage chamber 110, a feed pump 120, a buffer chamber 130, a pressure regulating valve 140, an ink feeding port 150, a communication part 160 for making the ink storage chamber 110 communicate with the feed pump 120, and the communication part 170 for making the buffer chamber 130 communicate with the ink storage chamber 110 and connecting them. The ink is led out of the ink storage chamber 110 through an ink channel 160 and conveyed to the buffer chamber 130. The feed pump 120 comprises a piezoelectric element while functioning also as a remaining amount detecting sensor for detecting the remaining amount of ink in the ink storage chamber 110 using the piezoelectric element. Among the inks stored in the buffer chamber 130, the ink which is not supplied to the pressure regulating valve 140 is returned to the ink storage chamber 110 through a bypass channel 170.
