PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fixation/removal of a handle to/from a center shaft of an umbrella while firmly fixing the handle to the shaft. SOLUTION: A sleeve member 4 fixed inside a handle body 3 with a center shaft inserting hole open upward has, in its circumferential wall, a vertical groove 11 that extends to a prescribed depth in the axial direction from the opening end and an engaging recess 12 that extends counterclockwise from the bottom end of the vertical groove 11. The center shaft 2, in which an engaging pin 6 to be fitted to this engaging recess 12 is made to protrude from the outer circumferential surface, is inserted in the shaft inserting hole in a manner lowering the engaging pin 6 along the vertical groove 11 of the sleeve member 4, and is then turned couterclockwise to make the engaging pin 6 fitted into the engaging recess 12.
