<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forceps for sealing various types of tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The forceps include at least a shaft 12 member having an end effector assembly 300 disposed at the distal end thereof. The end effector assembly 300 includes opposing jaw members movable from a first position in spaced relation relative to one another to at least one subsequent position wherein the jaw members cooperate to grasp tissue therebetween.
