<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device, system and program for achieving energy saving that is highly efficient and convenient even in a processing environment using the existing image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: By shifting a power state in a printer that receives supply of the power through the power control device from a normal power state to a power saving state by connecting a power cord to the outlet of the power control device, the supply of the power from the outlet of the power control device to the printer is stopped. The power control device starts power supply to the printer by receiving an image formation request or a warm-up request to the printer from an image formation requesting source, and restores the power state from the power saving state to the normal power state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
