<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably complete printing on the time required for a print job, and to improve the security of print data. <P>SOLUTION: A security printing system includes: a receiving unit for receiving a print job, a print completion time and a user authentication time; a means for tabulating a time from the processing start of the print job till the completion of print preparation, the time being calculated on the basis of attribute information included in the print job and a time from the start of printing till the completion of printing, the time being calculated on the basis of the number of printing or the processing capability of a printer, and for setting each of the printing start time, user authentication acceptance start time, and user authentication acceptance end time on the basis of the print completion time, and calculates a print required time zone from the processing start time of the print job till the print completion time, and for determining a printing required time zone suitable for the user authentication time by comparing the printing required time with the user authentication time; a table for registering and managing the printing required time zone by print job; and a means for notifying a host machine of the printing required time zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
