<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting a defect of a color filter, which removes only a black defect on a color pixel without removing the color pixel by removing even high portions even when the black defect has an uneven thickness, without providing a correction opening when removing the black defect on the color pixel. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for correcting a defect, (1) an initial irradiation range C1 of laser beam is set in accordance with image information of the black defect D1 and initial stripping is performed by irradiation fragmented by a spatial light modulator so as to strip off an upper layer in the initial irradiation range, and (2) a second irradiation range C2 of a second black defect D2 is set and second stripping is performed by fragmented irradiation so as to strip off an upper layer in the second irradiation range, and (3) third to n-th (final) irradiation ranges are repeatedly set and the third to n-th (final) stripping is performed by fragmented irradiation to strip off upper layers in the third to n-th (final) irradiation ranges, thereby removing the black defect D1, whereby the black defect D1 is removed stepwise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
