<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a club head of a sand wedge with which even an amateur can readily remove a golf ball having entered into a bunker from the bunker. <P>SOLUTION: A face at the center of the body 20 of the club head is formed with a space 22 penetrating the body from the front side to the back side. Many through-holes 34 penetrating the body from the front side to the back side are formed around the space 22 of the body 20, a string member 36 is threaded through the many through-holes 34 to form a mesh-like hitting portion 38 for hitting the golf ball, and a mesh space 40 communicating with the space 22. When the sand wedge is used for hitting the golf ball from the bunker, sand passes through the mesh spaces 40, so that the golf ball is directly hit without scooping the sand at the hitting portion 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
