PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taper correction system and a taper correction method in a wire cut electric discharge machining device efficiently correcting a tapered angle. SOLUTION: The taper correction system 20 in the wire cut electric discharge machining device 1 for correcting appearance tapered angles appearing by taper machining as required includes: an appearance tapered angle identifying means 231 for identifying a plurality of appearance tapered angles from an NC program; a representative number setting means 233 for setting a representative number of a representative taper angle that representatively indicates the plurality of appearance tapered angles and is used to correct the appearance tapered angles; a normal distribution function generating means 232 for generating a normal distribution function with the tapered angle as a variable; and a representative taper angle setting means 234 for setting the representative tapered angle by the normal distribution function according to the representative number.
