<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forwarding device for forwarding electronic information from a caller to a recipient, a telephone server, a forwarding method, and a forwarding system. <P>SOLUTION: The telephone server 2 establishes a call from a caller telephone 3 to a recipient telephone 3. Upon receiving mail from the caller, a mail transmitting/receiving section 11 of the forwarding device 1 obtains from a telephone number database (DB) 13 a caller telephone number corresponding to a mail sender address by means of a sender acquiring section 12. The caller telephone number is transmitted from a recipient receiving section 14 to the telephone server 2. A telephone number transmitting/receiving section 24 of the telephone server 2 obtains from a call control section 21 a recipient telephone number corresponding to the received caller telephone number and transmits it to the forwarding device 1. A destination address corresponding to the recipient telephone number received by the recipient receiving section 14 of the forwarding device 1 is obtained from the telephone number database (DB) 13 by means of a destination acquiring section 15.
